Permanent makeup, also known as cosmetic tattooing, involves implanting pigment into the skin to enhance the appearance of your natural Eyebrows, Lips and Eyer. It’s a great option for anyone who wants to wake up looking beautiful every day without the hassle of daily makeup.

The healing process after permanent makeup (PMU) or Microblading typically involves several stages. Here’s a general overview:Immediate Aftercare (Day 1): You may experience slight swelling and some oozing of pigment specially during the fists hours. This is normal.First Few Days (Days 2-3):Crusting and Scabbing: The area might develop some crusting or scabs. Avoid picking at them, as this can affect the final results.Moisturizing: Apply the recommended ointment to keep the area moisturized.Peeling Stage (Days 4-10):Peeling: The outer layer of skin may start to peel or flake. This can make the pigment appear lighter or uneven temporarily.Color Settling: Expect the color to soften as it settles into the skin.Weeks 2-4 Healing: By the end of the second week, most of the peeling should be over. The pigment will continue to settle, and the final color will become clearer.Itching: Some mild itching can occur as the skin continues to heal. Avoid scratching.Final Stages (1 Month and Beyond):Final Touch-Up: A touch-up appointment is often recommended 6-8 weeks after the initial procedure to address any fading or unevenness.Full Healing: Full healing can take up to several weeks, with the final results visible around 4-6 weeks after the procedure.Aftercare Tips: Avoid sun exposure, swimming, and heavy exercise for at least a week. Follow the specific aftercare instructions provided by your artist for the best results. Remember, individual experiences can vary based on skin type, the area treated, and adherence to aftercare.
